SVP - Operations Manager
The SVP/Operations Manager plays a key role in the management of Western State Bank, its products and processes.
This position will provide leadership with a companywide impact and effectively and efficiently manage the performance of Operations, Deposit Services, Loan Services and Project Management areas to ensure fulfillment of company identified goals.
This position acts as the central point for process management across the bank, providing management support and engaging all bank functions for execution and delivery of identified goals and initiatives.
Develops strategies and directs the work of others to assist the organization in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible.
Identifies areas where improvements in efficiency, productivity, and/or quality can be made; leads the development and implementation of process changes that support the organization's strategy Evaluates and recommends changes to policies and procedures and ensures the proper steps are taken to properly implement and educate the workforce on updates.
Serves as the conduit for information among the senior management team and operational areas to ensure timely, accurate and consistent information regarding projects and initiatives is shared with all appropriate parties.
Stays up-to-date on related legal and regulatory requirements within the industry and ensures to adapt internal policies and procedures to those requirements; communicating the updates and reasoning to all appropriate parties for proper and thorough implementation of changes.
Coach and mentor team through setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and coaching.
Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with a minimum of ten years of experience managing one or more bank administrative functions required.
This is a full-time position with benefits.
