Marketing Manager

OBJECTIVEThe Marketing Manager is responsible for using key market knowledge to execute communication and promotional tactics, allowing our customers to identify and differentiate product and channel advantages over the competition. This position leads our annual campaign planning process, develops and executes promotional materials and tactics which maximize return on investment and are consistent with the brand, annual operating plan and segmentation strategies.RESPONSIBILITY
Customer Value Proposition:
Guide development of features, benefits, application and results to the customer for the brand, products and channel support services through close collaboration with cross functional areas.
Data Analysis and Management:
Use marketing analytics to drive and maximize marketing communication efforts.
Marketing Campaign Strategy:
Direct annual campaign planning process to engage and manage all stakeholders' efforts toward identified objectives; routinely analyze and update efforts to ensure maximum awareness and favorable response.
Creative Planning and Execution:
Leverage market and industry information to develop and drive effective creative through marketing campaigns. Lead development and execution of creative including planning and execution of photo, video and other related efforts.
Marketing Tactical Execution:
Develop and drive overall marketing materials strategy, including development of literature, brochures and multi-media.
Public Relations:
Execute the public relations strategy for the client's brand; appropriately represent client's in-person and on-camera interviews.
Build and Protect the client's brand:
Develop brand focused materials that successfully communicate the value proposition and brand pillars. Ensure alignment of marketing planning and collateral with company and marketing led materials.
KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communications
7-10 years of experience
Demonstrated knowledge of how a company researches, develops, markets and distributes a product
Demonstrated knowledge of how to identify and leverage customer tendencies, unmet needs, product differentiators and the strengths of the competition and ability to communicate them.
Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal and persuasive skills
Experience developing and delivering marketing collateral
Demonstrated ability to work across departments to address company-wide customer needs.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience.
Must have or can obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Strong decision making capabilities and capable of self-direction
Strong organizational skills to ensure projects are managed and completed in a manageable timeframe
Demonstrated strong financial acumen
Demonstrated strong project management experience, including ability to independently prioritize and track complex, competing schedules; proactively anticipate and complete tasks; and self-initiate programs
Proven ability to interact with and influence internal and external colleagues
Proven ability to independently resolve problems in an effective, diplomatic manner
Up to 25% travel
